Smriti Minocha is a professional Indian singer, songwriter, composer, and music educator based in Mumbai.
Over a career spanning more than three decades, she has established herself across commercial playback singing, independent music, and global collaborations.
Whether lending her voice to cinematic soundtracks, independent music, commercials, or live performances, Smriti believes that every song has a story worth telling. Her work reflects a blend of musical versatility, artistic integrity, and a genuine love for the craft.
Rooted in the rich heritage of Indian classical music, Smriti brings depth, sensitivity, and authenticity to every note she sings and every melody she creates. Her classical foundation shapes her artistic expression, allowing her to blend timeless tradition with contemporary sounds in a way that feels both evocative and deeply personal.

My education in Hindustani Classical Music has been more than an academic pursuit - it has been a lifelong dialogue with melody, rhythm, and tradition. A Master's degree in the discipline reflects years of immersive learning, where every raga became a story, every bandish a lesson, and every note a step toward artistic discovery.
This classical heritage remains the core of my musical expression, seamlessly blending tradition with contemporary creativity.
Smriti trained under the tutelage of the renowned Vichitra Veena maestro and a Sangeet Natak Academy Awardee, Late Pandit Gopal Krishan Sharma. She's also learnt nuances of Ghazal Gayaki, Thumri and Dadra from various Gurus.
Smriti is a graded artist of All India Radio.
